Izabelle Hernandez showed timely hitting on Tuesday, driving in six on two hits to lead KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack Varsity past Valley Christian – Dublin 20-11 on Tuesday. Hernandez drove in runs on a double in the first, a fielder’s choice in the third, and a single in the third.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack Varsity collected 11 hits and Valley Christian – Dublin had 15.

Valley Christian – Dublin got things moving in the first inning, when K An singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack Varsity tallied ten runs in the third inning. Hernandez, Tiffany Dang, Jessica Nunez, Ahtziri Hernandez, Hernandez, and Dang all drove in runs in the frame.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack Varsity collected 11 hits. Destiny Pena, Hernandez, Hernandez, and Sola-ki-Vava’u Taimani all managed multiple hits for KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack Varsity. Hernandez and Pena each collected three hits to lead KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack Varsity.
